I have to be honest. I created The Learning Curve Woman out of my own selfish need for a forum where I could be honest about the fact that I needed help. When the idea first crossed my mind, almost five years ago, to start a women’s support network, I was in a pretty desperate place in my life. I was lost, confused and aimlessly floating through life without a plan or purpose. I didn’t know where to go for guidance because there didn’t seem to be a place for one to turn to answer the questions, “Who am I?” “Where do I want to be?” and “How do get there?” And honestly, at the time, I couldn’t even articulate that those where the questions that needed answering.
The principle belief behind The Learning Curve Woman is that misdirection comes from a lack of self-awareness, and that through introspection and self-discovery (along with support, strategic planning and action) one can live a more purposeful and fulfilled life.
